Rotary International District 9570 Inc (District 9570) District Governor’s Welcome

Hello and welcome to this website. It is our intention to provide, through this site, an information warehouse for the use of Rotarians in District 9570 (Central Queensland Australia). However, I do encourage non-Rotarians to spend some time learning a little more about our organisation, Rotary International, and the work that some 1.2 million Rotarians are doing around the world.

Rotary is an organisation for business and professional men and women who are prepared to give of their time and expertise to help those less fortunate than ourselves. It’s scope extends from the local community to some of the most impoverished people on earth. At the same time we believe in having some fun, so that service and fellowship are the two pillars upon which Rotary stands. In the 2007-08 Rotary year this website will be transformed in terms of the volume of information held on-line. For a period of time it will be “work in progress” as appropriate material is prepared and loaded. For our District 9570 Rotarians, if the information you are looking for is not here yet, your Club President or Secretary can provide you with contact details for the applicable District Officer.
